Five people is already an audience
Why I run a channel, why I don't trust AI bloggers, and what impostor syndrome has in common with get-rich-quick gurus.
I suddenly discovered that this channel has more than 5 people in it 👀. Newcomers might think this is yet another channel where a self-help guru warms up the audience for a secret paid chat with secret AI tools (the funny part is, when I reread some of my own posts, that’s exactly what it looks like to me too 😂).
I might disappoint you — there is no secret 🤷. I’m just building a knowledge base that’s useful first of all to me, and if it also helps you, that’s doubly great 🙌.
Social media is full of sources shouting that a killer-of-everything just dropped, that there’s a super-prompt, do as I do and your back will never hurt again. I used to fall for all that too. But at some point I started suspecting someone was playing me, so I started digging into the topic myself. And I started with the banal stuff — reading the documentation 📚 (yes, yes, go ahead and tell me what an idiot I am for not going there first).
The absurdity is that people are wired to trust those who, in their view, have achieved more than them (hello, impostor syndrome 👋). And you know what I found? The people I trusted were doing absolute nonsense (by the standards of the official docs) and selling it for money 💰. That’s when it clicked — I was the latest victim of the gurus.
You have a fair question brewing: so you could also be feeding us nonsense? And you’d be right.
So here’s my main point: when you read the next piece of news or watch your favorite blogger, turn on critical thinking. Check official sources.
The second thought I want to get across: it doesn’t matter what you do right now — the tools I show can easily fit into your daily life and work. Maybe you’ve had a product idea for ages — not a mass-market one, but something that makes life easier for you or your family.
Right now is exactly the moment when people with ideas who lacked knowledge in one area or another can build anything. I’m not talking about billion-dollar businesses — I’m talking about your personal product that you actually enjoy ❤️.
Wanted to make a game? Go ahead. Wanted your own SaaS — no problem. VPN doesn’t work? Spin up your own VPS. Tired of booking the barber yourself? ✂️ Hand it to OpenClaw.
There are lots of cases like this, and they’re not random internet stories — they’re real people I talk to 👥. One friend of mine is writing a game just for the joy of it. Will it hit the stores? It could, but why bother. He always dreamed of making games — and the moment has come when it’s possible without pain and suffering 🕊️. Another buddy is nowhere near programming and runs his own business. We had a conversation much like the one you’re reading now, he asked for links — and after a couple of sleepless nights 🌙 he sent me his working product.
Let me say it again — this is available to everyone now 🔓. Dust off that notebook with your ideas 📓. Maybe your product will be the next unicorn 🦄 — or it will simply bring you a ton of joy in the making.
